Bulgartransgaz EAD opened the tenders for the selection of a contractor for the construction of two compressor stations

Today, 11 June 2019 at 1:00 pm in Bulgartransgaz EAD headquarters a public meeting was held where submitted tenders were opened within the framework of the public procurement “Investment design, procurement of the necessary materials and equipment, construction and commissioning of Stage CS Rasovo and Stage CS Nova Provadia to site Expansion of Bulgartransgaz EAD gas transmission infrastructure parallel to the north (main) gas pipeline to the Bulgarian-Serbian border” under Ref. No. 190-038.

Two associations submitted tenders in the procedure:

 - DZZD Rasovo-Provadia CS with participants in the association KLIMATRONIK EOOD, ZAO ALVORA, TOV POLTAVASPETSMONTAZH and TEK-QUATRO AD


- DZZD FERROSTAAL BALKANGAZ with participants in the association FERROSTAAL INDUSTRIEANLAGEN GMBH, Glavbolgarstroy AD and Glavbolgarstroy International AD.

The Committee appointed by the Contracting Authority, will review the compliance of the participants with the requirements of the Contracting Authority specified in the participation documentation.

A public notice will be published on Bulgartransgaz EAD website on the price proposals opening date, time and venue.

The most economically advantageous offer will be determined based on the selected award criterion “optimal correlation quality/price" according to objective indicators, including execution deadlines, indicator related to the gas turbine engine operation, price parameters and rate of cost increase related to the deferred payment.

The Committee should complete its work within one month.

The estimate amount of the procurement amounts to BGN 351 635 657. 46, excluding VAT (three hundred and fifty-one million six hundred thirty-five thousand six hundred and fifty-seven BGN and forty-six).

Bulgartransgaz EAD by conducting the procedure, complies with its obligations according to the updated Energy Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria, under the new Section VII “Ensuring security of supplies, providing a liquid and competitive natural gas market and gas infrastructure development”.

The implementation of the procurement aims to enhance the security of gas supplies to the country and the South-East Europe region and to strengthen the role of Bulgaria as a transit centre in the European Union.
